Oil on canvas board· 2024
50 × 40 cm · Framed
I remembered a hot summer fair from childhood, the bright colours, a carousel and the smell of candy floss in the air. I wanted to bring some of that feeling into the painting. While painting it, I especially enjoyed trying to capture the softness and fluffiness of the candy floss itself.
